In decades of playing bass, the B|Amp is the best amp I have ever played through. Bergantino is a top notch company. Great products and superior service.

Cleanest, truest sound I have ever heard. Perfect cab (NV115) for the vintage sound I was seeking.

tried several heads JTM 50watt…Hi-Watt DR103…Orange TH30…Reeves and Marshall 100watt Lead thru my friend’s AD212 and it performed extraordinarily well….found the cabinet to be very kind to the ears with nice punchy lows and no mid-range spike at higher volumes….highs are nice and transparent….when compared to vintage Marshall 4×12’s the AD had plenty of muscle and did not sound like any 2×12 i have heard….it has a studio-finished timber to it which i really liked over the classic Marshall half stack and sounds excellent at lower volumes with high gain which is always tricky in smaller venues….overall an A+ well-built and well designed piece of equipment….tone is what I’m after and this cab has it!

At 61, needless to say i have owned a ton of equipment over the years. Good equipment. One day I purchased a used HT322 and then an HT212. I was amazed at the clarity and power of these cabs. A bit heavy but I was a bit younger and didn’t really care. Now its all about sound/mobility of it all. The HDN cabs and B|Amp seemed perfect. So I went in my studio, packed up my twin Acoustic 360 rigs [yes two] and carried in an HDN210 and the B|Amp in bag over my shoulder. I am so happy with this rig and the amount of sound it puts out, and my friends were looking around for another hidden cab somewhere LOL. With an HDN112 on the way it will only get better. So my compressor, tuner and fuzz went on eBay. The onboard effect are fantastic and my Phase 90 and wah wah thru the effects loop is perfect. It all just works so well together. The B|Amp is not just another little amp, and it is worth more than the asking price. Nothing comes close to it. Thanks Mr Bergantino.

Bought the B-Amp a little while back now, after initially buying a Genzler Magellan 800 – which is another great amp, but it just didn’t suit me. For the record…. I’ve used ALL TUBE amps all my life….since I was 14 & my dad bought me a 100w tube VASE BASSMAN (Australian made Fender copy) as he said at the time ” You’re starting to play in bands now so it’s no use getting you something you’ll need to upgrade in 6 months” – wise words!!!! So… I go for a CLEAN all tube tone ideally!

The B-Amp fit me like a glove from the 1st note. Thats WITHOUT engaging any cab profiles, onboard fx etc… It just SOUNDS GREAT from the get go. And, if ya want, you CAN simply use it as a standard amp with 4 eq BANDS- LOW, LOW-MID, HIGH-MID & TREBLE…. BUT, if you desire …it’s got SO much more available.

I haven’t got time right now to elaborate on ALL it’s goodness that even I have used & I’m more of a “PLUG n PLAY” type. I use memory 1 for a my typical use tone – a touch of COMPRESSION, a touch of OVERDRIVE( just so it adds a li’l fur if i DIG IN) & the EQ pretty much flat. I use memory slot 2 for a slightly boosted lows & low mids for my (rare) slap times, & No memory I set to be a basic clean tone. Tho for 95% I use my memory 1 setting.

Nothing BUT compliments on my tone from all that I’ve worked with so far. Love it!

I was rehearsing last night and it’s such a beautiful sounding amp. I was worried about the hifi sound not being punchy enough but it cut like a knife and somehow allowed the other instruments more space in the mix. The other thing I love is the way the eq works, it’s so smooth. We play funk and soul and just like all music, bass is the most important instrument 🙂  The B|Amp adds to the whole band as though you’ve let a studio engineer loose with your favourite bass amp and he’s just added the magic ingredient.

Thanks for making such a great piece of kit.
