F-Bass – Bergantino recommending Luthier

In business, it’s about people, it’s about relationships. We consider our friends at F Bass – Handmade Bass Guitars a part of the Bergantino family. Thank you for your friendship!

“The Bergantino forté has become one of our main reference amps at F Bass HQ. The clarity, transparency and focused low end not only make it a fantastic showroom rig, but an R&D rig as well, allowing us to hear even the smallest of design changes.”

Bass Magazine Review of the Bergantino forte’ HP

Bass Magazines Review of the Bergantino forte’ HP https://issuu.com/bassmagazine/docs/bass_issue5_ph2_issuu/94?fr=sNjMxYjQ4ODExOA

“Since the player experience is essentially identical to that of an analog amp, the Forté HP is easy to get up and running. I simply found the gain setting that worked with my test basses (which included a ’66 Fender Jazz, F Bass BN5, Moollon P-Classic, and a Callowhill MDM 5-string), and then I used the master knob to bring the loud. And loud it was. Paired with my Bergantino HT-322 cabinet, the Forté HP immediately demonstrated its ungodly power and seemingly limitless headroom. While Class D/SMPS amps of yore sometimes didn’t live up to their on-paper specs, the Forté HP felt every bit the 1,200-watt amp it claims to be. I cannot imagine a setting that would require swifter and more compliant power delivery on tap.”  Jonathan Herrera, Bass Magazine

Bergantino Launches New Holo-Graphic Series HG312 Cab

With its huge, balanced tone, the new HG312 sits perfectly amidst its brethren in the lineup. The sweet, never harsh sounding highs, coupled with a smooth, balanced midrange and low end, deliver a big cab performance in a light and small footprint package. This cabinet performs well above its size and weight. The rear firing 12” speaker provides a sonically charged heavyweight blanket of bass that has to be experienced first-hand. If you are a gigging bassist looking for a true “one cab solution”, look no further. The HG312 is a workhorse with a canvas that can cover any genre of music.

Premier Guitar Review and Gear Award for the forté HP and the HG410

Dave Abdo:The Verdict”
“As I was wrapping up this review, I got some good news. Jim Bergantino announced he was cancer-free. The Forté HP is his passion project as well as a monster amp, with easy-to-use features and stout tone. Discerning bassists who expect maximum performance will appreciate its thoughtful design and seemingly unlimited headroom that delivers each note accurately. Pairing it with the HG410 makes a vicious combination, rewarding users with excellent tone-shaping features and a strong footprint within any ensemble. I can say with confidence the Forté HP is one of the best amps of the year, and the HG410 is one of the best 4x10s ever designed.”
