“I finally took the plunge and bought a pair of your amazing little speakers – HT112’s. I’m fairly sure I’m the only one around here to have them. I’ve just got back from Bass NW in Seattle, and plugged them straight into my rig (Eden WT 800B, in stereo, with Drawmer compressor, Aphex Aural Exciter 204, Lexicon MPX 1, and EBS Stereo analogue chorus, Bass IQ and Octabass pedals) with the same settings I had for the Aguilar 112’s. Firstly, I had to turn down, because your speakers are more efficient, and next step was to remove all the EQ I had to use on the Aguilars to try to get some of the midrange back. These little things are extraordinary; rich, deep, punchy, loud, and with the sweetest top end in the business. Finally, my MTD 635 fretless masterpiece has the sound it deserves; the top range of that bass has sounded thin and scratchy through all the cabinets I’ve used; with the Bergies, thick and rich. And they are small! I could fit at least three in the trunk of my car; with the Aguilars, I could only fit one because of the shape. Anyway, thank you, Mr. Bergantino, for building such a great little cab; I’m really busy this month (25 gigs – almost like a real job!), and everything from jazz, to Afro-Cuban fusion, to R&B and Pub-Rock gigs, and one big outdoor East Indian Festival with a singer, flamenco guitarist, and a tabla player, so I’ll report back to you after a few gigs. But I can already tell that all the midrange that was so lacking in the Aguilars is there in abundance now, with a nice controlled low frequency response. Next step – two IP’s to match, and trade all this other crap in on an Avalon preamp – I’ll just keep the Lexicon.” Sincerely, Cameron Hood

“I’ve had my HT322 for a handful of months now and I just want to say…Thank you. I switched from using 2 – GS112s to 1 – HT322 and the difference was awesome, don’t get me wrong I still love GS112s they have a sound of their own but the HT322 is THE cabinet for me and it seems to be a perfect fit with the DB750. Just beautiful…. Thank you. ”

“This is a follow up to my past comments on my IP310 / IP212 stack. I was waiting on a custom Demeter HBP-1 preamp and it finally arrived. As I had hoped it sounds unreal with the IP cabs!! In my opinion this is without a doubt the best sounding setup I have ever heard, bar none!! The tone is just thick, rich, warm and punchy, plus I barely need to use any EQ at all. Search over!! ” Thank you, Dominick J. Mesa, Arizona

“Jim, Thanks for taking the time to talk with me on the phone. It was super cool and top notch to talk with the gentleman who took to time designing the rig I now can’t live without. I purchased the IP112 + the EX112 and I have got to say….WOW. That is a huge understatement. I was concerned moving from my 4×10 cab that these 2-12’s would be less than what I was used to. Was I ever wrong, in every way. The tone, the accuracy, the sheer volume that these little cabs produces with your IP amp/DSP settings are truly unbelievable. You have to hear it to believe it. Have I mentioned yet how good it sounds? At my first gig, I simply couldn’t believe the kind of quality tone I was getting. I even caught myself laughing during the gig, I was actually giddy it was so much fun to play through. My Warwick’s have been my only bass of choice to play while my poor Fender Jazz American Std has been untouched for the last couple of years. I was even thinking of selling it but after playing the J-bass through the IP112+EX112, there is no way I would ever get rid of it. I love the sound of that bass now… Thanks again for a top-notch quality product, and a shout out to Bass-Northwest who was an outstanding retailer to work with and a shout out to Tom Bowlus at talkbass.com forums who first turned me on to the Bergantino IP series! My first Bergantino experience has been wonderful and look forward to every gig I get to play! Thanks Jim! ” Chris Coen – Kalispell, Montana www.blueonion.net

“I own a pair of Bergantino single-12 cabs. I used to use a Genz-Benz 410xb which sounded pretty good, but was a beast (weight wise). The Bergs are compact & portable. The sound is the best I’ve heard… clean and tight. Even better than the sound, to me, is the response… the way it makes my instrument/playing feel. ”      Jim Lee – www.jimleemusic.com

“Jim, First off thanks for your product. The HT210S blew me away the first time I heard it. I’m now getting a used HT210 and HT115 stack to hold me while I work out the funds for an IP310 or IP212!!! Its very cool to know that the very guy that engineered my cab and made it, can tell me exactly why every detail is the way it is. What Im saying is that in a world of bass gear hype and fluff, Bergantino is the most well rounded bass cab, from sound, to service. Thanks a again Jim. ” Travis Sanders
