“After really sitting down and playing/listening to your 2-10 cabinet, I had an interesting discovery. Having put aside my “sonic expectations” (because my ear had been used to hearing the typical boom-hiss 4-10 thing for so long) I was able to actually hear my bass and its natural character. All these years of playing through speakers that over emphasized certain frequencies, and trying to EQ around those inherent problems, I was led on a never ending path of new pre-amps, different basses, different bells and whistles, in the pursuit of trying to return to square one.
