Bergantino High-Definition HD Series Cabinets

For Bergantino Audio it all starts with the High-Definition HD series of bass guitar speaker cabinets. The HD series are available in four driver configurations; 1-12” w/ Tweeter, 2-12” w/ Tweeter, 2-10” w/ Tweeter and 4-10” w/ Tweeter (this model comes with removable casters). The cabinetry on the HD series employ a precision tuned cabinet architecture and the enclosures are built with the finest 100% Baltic birch plywood available. The HD series are covered in traditional tolex for durability (no more carpet fuzz for your cat to claw) and they all employ a rigid black grille to protect the drivers.

The internal components used are extremely high quality and they are of Bergantino design. No ‘off-the-shelf’ parts are used. Woofers have ceramic magnets w/ vented pole pieces and the low-end on this series of cabinets is full and round – they can handle high power output from your amplifier. The HD series have remained a favorite of finger style and pick players because of the tight-creamy low end found with these cabinets. Each of the HD series cabinets has a high intelligibility tweeter mated to the woofers through a custom designed phase-coherent crossover with a tweeter control. Bergantino HD series cabinets are not as heavy as some of the other cabinets available, but will produce a more accurate, full-bodied and authentic representation of your bass guitar in live and studio settings.

Bergantino Audio CN410 Begins Shipping the Week of April 13th!

CN410800

The new CN410 ‘Carbon Neo’ 4-10″ & Tweeter speaker cabinet begins shipping the week of April 13th. This speaker cabinet was very, very well received at the Winter NAMM 2015 trade show. Bass players were quite impressed with its tone and the ‘sound-per-weight’ ratio. So, visit or call your Bergantino Audio dealer now to make sure that you don’t miss out.

The CN410 which weighs in at 49 lbs. continues the legacy of the CN112, CN210 and CN212 lightweight speaker cabinets. All of the acclaimed Bergantino Audio sonic fingerprint is evident in this new speaker cabinet.

The Bergantino Audio Systems ‘Carbon Neo’ CN series of lightweight speaker cabinets nod their head to the traditional HD series but have a different function. These are the lightest speaker cabinets that we make. The precision tuned cabinet architecture and the enclosures are built with the finest lightweight Italian poplar plywood (with Baltic birch baffle boards) selected to our specifications. This lightweight cabinet material (along with the lightweight magnet material) helps reduce the overall cabinet weight. The lightweight carbon covering is used for cabinet cover material and is also lighter than the traditional tolex covering found on most speaker cabinets. A rigid black grille is added to protect the drivers from damage.

The internal components used are extremely high quality and they are of Bergantino design. No ‘off-the-shelf’ parts are used. Woofers with Neodymium magnet material are used for the low frequency section of the CN series cabinets. The Neodymium drivers have a punchier low-end and a very sweet midrange that is placed a little more forward in the sound field when compared to the HD series. Fretless and upright players will often prefer the CN cabinets because of how the midrange ‘speaks’ with their instruments. The CN series cabinets have a high intelligibility tweeter mated to the woofers through a custom designed phase-coherent crossover with a tweeter control. Because of the increased cost of the Neodymium magnet material, imported wood for the cabinetry and the unique covering material, the CN series speakers cost more than the HD series, but may just be the right match for your playing style and weight needs.

Bergantino Audio Systems announces the CN410 Speaker Cabinet

Whitinsville, MA (January 5, 2015) – Bergantino Audio Systems announces the CN410 lightweight bass guitar speaker cabinet (ProNet price $1499 USD), the finest lightweight 4-10” bass guitar speaker cabinet available. The CN410 will be available around March 1st for shipment.

The CN410 which weighs in at 49 lbs. (approx. 22.23 kilograms) continues the legacy of the CN112, CN212 & CN210 lightweight speaker cabinets. All of the acclaimed Bergantino Audio sonic fingerprint is evident in this new speaker cabinet.

The (Carbon Neo) CN410 speaker cabinet uses a precision tuned cabinet architecture built with the finest lightweight poplar plywood to help reduce weight, but with a sturdy Baltic birch baffle to ensure a cohesive and powerful acoustic wave front. It’s finished in a carbon fiber tolex covering with a rigid black metal grille. Components include a custom designed phase-coherent crossover with a tweeter control, power handling of 800W RMS, frequency response of 44Hz to 12kHz and woofers with Neodymium magnet material which provide a full and punchy low-end with a very sweet midrange. A removable caster set is also included in the price.

The CN410 has a very tight and focused sound with great note definition, clarity and presence from the low-mid through hi-mid frequencies. The lows are extremely tight and focused with highs that are clear without being brittle. When the horn is turned off, there is a more fundamental note, minus some string noise and dialing in the horn adds some string sound, and some added presence to the notes. The overall sound is very even across the frequency spectrum.

no treble – Bergantino Introduces New NV610T Bass Cabinet

Bergantino Audio Systems announces the NV412T Speaker Cabinet

Whitinsville, MA (December 29, 2014) – Bergantino Audio Systems announces the NV412T ‘New Vintage’ bass guitar speaker cabinet (ProNet price $1499 USD), a sealed cabinet with a thunderous vintage sound.

The NV412T which weighs in at 108 lbs. (approx. 49 kilograms) is an addition to the NV family of Bergantino Audio Systems speakers (which includes the NV115 and the NV610T). This NV412T is a very ‘organic’ sounding speaker with a smooth top end and subtle transition between the woofers and the tweeter. The new NV412T is very responsive, with a lot of presence and tight note integrity from the bottom to the top of the fingerboard. This also lends to a speaker which makes it easier to get strong, full notes with less playing effort.

The ‘New Vintage’ NV412T series bass guitar speaker cabinet incorporates 4-12” with a Tweeter (and level control). The NV412T cabinet is sealed (rather than the traditional ported design) which provides the cabinet with a tighter low-end and more immediate bass response. It comes with ‘tilt-back’ casters installed with full-length amp glides on the back to facilitate loading and unloading. Side mounted recessed handles (at the right height to lift these onto any stage) and a recessed, top mounted handle system makes tilting back and rolling this speaker a breeze. The NV series cabinet employs a precision tuned architectural design and the enclosure is built with the finest 100% Baltic birch plywood available. The NV412T is covered in traditional tolex for durability (no more carpet fuzz for your cat to claw) and it employs a rigid black grille to protect the drivers.

The NV412T woofers have ceramic magnets with vented pole pieces and the low-end is full and round. The NV412T also utilizes a unique tweeter matched with a custom designed phase-coherent crossover network that extends the range of these cabinets to 12KhZ. A tweeter level control on the back of the cabinet allows turning the tweeter all the way off and removes it from the circuit, so if you want the ‘old-school vibe’ – no problem. With the tweeter on, these cabs can be slap monsters to match high-output demands – with the tweeters off, just great low end and midrange goodness. If you trend a little more old school, the NV412T can easily replace your worn 4-10” or any of the ‘vintage’ 4×12” cabinets from the 60s/70s – the same sonic character as the old days, but with more attitude, higher power handling and increased clarity and focus. The Bergantino Audio NV412T will be available for shipment beginning the first of April 2015.
